Gresik, May 19, 2025 – PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk (NPG) posted impressive performance growth in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025.
According to its latest financial report, the company recorded an 81% increase in sales compared to the same period the previous year. Total sales in Q1 2025 reached IDR 40.63 billion, a significant increase from IDR 22.43 billion in Q1 2024.
The surge in performance was not only reflected in sales, but also in net profit after tax, which reached IDR 896.56 million in Q1 2025. This was despite the company posting a loss of IDR 1.95 billion in the same period last year.
Hendriawan, Corporate Secretary of PT Nusa Palapa Gemilang Tbk, explained that this improved performance was the result of the company's consistent implementation of cost efficiency strategies and strengthening its distribution network.
"We have successfully improved our sales performance by reaching a wider market while simultaneously reducing operating expenses. This is the result of the collective work of our management and operational teams," he said.
Furthermore, Hendriawan stated that product diversification and penetration into new segments were the main drivers of growth. The company is also capitalizing on the momentum of the agricultural sector's recovery and the increasing demand for national fertilizers since the end of 2024.
"We are optimistic that this positive trend can continue until the end of the year. Our focus going forward is to maintain the sustainability of this growth and continue to improve efficiency," he added.
